Description

This course provides experience in the use of instruments for the detection and analysis of radiation. Instruments include the course are gas-filled detectors, scintillation counters, semiconductor detectors, radiation spectroscopy, neutron detectors, dosimetry, external dosimetry, and counting statistics.

Prerequisites

NUC210 Health Physics and Radiation Protection; May be taken concurrently with NUC210.
